Meet Maya, a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in management and accounting. She holds the prestigious Fundamentals in Sustainability Accounting Credential from the IFRS Foundation and the Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the GSTC, complemented by an array of other sustainability-focused courses.

Maya’s impressive track record includes successful projects where she guided diverse entities, from farmers to corporate executives, shipping companies to property management firms, in integrating sustainability into their operations and personal lives. Her driving passion lies in empowering individuals and businesses to harmonize with nature, fostering a world where everyone flourishes.

Nico Grové

Director N.I.M.A.

Nico, is a dedicated professional with an impressive 24-year journey in the tourism sector, including a deep immersion in the marine industry since his trans-Atlantic voyage from Cape Town to the Caribbean in 2003. His career has spanned diverse leadership roles, ranging from Marine Salvage to the Charter Yacht industry and Marine Surveying.

With qualifications as an I.K.O. Kiteboarding Instructor and T.E.F.L. teacher, Nico thrives on interpersonal interaction and has a hands-on approach to problem-solving using deductive reasoning. He possesses a profound appreciation for both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, driven by a genuine passion for travel. In his adventures, Nico cherishes heartwarming encounters, big smiles, and belly laughs as he embraces the wonders of ‘Pachamama,’ our beloved Earth.
